Terms of Use
1. Agreement
By downloading or using Cleaner (“the App”), you agree to Apple’s Standard EULA and to these Terms of Use. If you do not agree, do not use the App.
2. The App
Cleaner helps you review and remove photos, videos and contacts on your device, compress videos, and store photos and videos in an encrypted Private Vault. All processing happens on your device.
3. AI Premium subscriptions
- Plans: AI Premium Weekly ($3.99 per week) and AI Premium Yearly ($19.99 per year). Prices are in US dollars and may vary by country; the price shown in the App Store at purchase applies.
- Free trial: the Yearly plan includes a 3-day free trial for eligible new subscribers. The Weekly plan has no free trial. If you don’t cancel at least 24 hours before the trial ends, the Yearly subscription starts and you are charged. Any unused portion of a free trial is forfeited when you purchase a subscription.
- Payment: payment is charged to your Apple Account at confirmation of purchase, or when the free trial ends.
- Auto-renewal: subscriptions renew automatically at the same price and duration unless auto-renew is turned off at least 24 hours before the end of the current period. Your account is charged for renewal within 24 hours before the end of the current period.
- Managing and cancelling: you can manage or cancel your subscription in your Apple Account settings (Settings › your name › Subscriptions) or in the App under Settings › Premium Membership › Manage in App Store. Cancelling stops future renewals; you keep Premium until the end of the period you paid for.
- Changing plans: switching from Weekly to Yearly takes effect immediately and Apple refunds the unused portion. Switching from Yearly to Weekly takes effect at your next renewal date.
- Refunds: all purchases are processed by Apple. To request a refund, visit reportaproblem.apple.com.
- Restoring purchases: use Restore Purchases in the App to restore an active subscription on a new device or after reinstalling, using the same Apple Account.
4. Free plan
Without a subscription you can delete up to 25 photos and videos per day with Smart Clean, use Contact Cleaner, and keep up to 10 items in the Private Vault. AI Best Shot, Video Compressor and Decoy Mode require AI Premium.
5. Your content and responsibility
- You decide what to delete, compress, merge or move to the vault. Please review items before confirming.
- Photos and videos you delete are moved to the Photos app’s Recently Deleted album, where iOS keeps them for up to 30 days.
- Before contacts are merged or deleted, the App saves a backup on your device that you can restore from Contact Cleaner › Backups.
- Private Vault files are encrypted and stored only on your device. We cannot see, recover or reset them. If you forget your vault passcode or delete the App, vault contents cannot be recovered.
6. Acceptable use
You agree not to reverse engineer, copy, resell or misuse the App except as permitted by the Standard EULA and applicable law.
7. Disclaimer and limitation of liability
The App is provided “as is” as described in the Standard EULA. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for loss of data resulting from items you choose to delete, modify or store. Keep backups of important photos, videos and contacts (for example, iCloud Photos and iCloud Contacts).
8. Changes
We may update these Terms of Use. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version. Continued use of the App after changes means you accept the updated terms.
