Privacy Policy
1. Who we are
This policy describes how the Cleaner iOS app (“the App”, “we”) handles information. Contact us at appservice24@yahoo.com.
2. Information we do not collect
We do not collect your name, email address, location, photos, videos, contacts, device identifiers or usage data. The App contains no third-party analytics, advertising or tracking SDKs, and we do not track you across apps or websites.
3. Information processed on your device
To provide its features, the App processes the following data locally on your device only. It is never uploaded to us or anyone else.
- Photos and videos (with your permission): analyzed on-device with Apple’s Vision framework to find similar, duplicate, blurry and large items, and to pick the best shot. Deleted items go to the Photos app’s Recently Deleted album.
- Contacts (with your permission): compared on-device to find duplicate and incomplete contacts. Before merging or deleting, a backup file is saved inside the App on your device.
- Private Vault: photos and videos you add are encrypted with AES-GCM and stored in the App’s private storage on your device. The encryption key and your passcode are protected by the iOS Keychain. We cannot access or recover vault contents.
- Face ID: if you enable it, iOS verifies your identity. The App never receives your biometric data.
- Notifications: optional cleanup reminders are scheduled locally on your device.
- Settings and usage limits: your preferences and the free-plan daily counter are stored on your device (including the Keychain).
4. Purchases
Subscriptions are processed by Apple through the App Store. We never receive your payment details. The App reads your subscription status from Apple’s StoreKit on your device to unlock AI Premium. Apple’s handling of purchase data is described in Apple’s Privacy Policy.
5. Support emails
If you email us, we receive your email address and whatever you include in your message. We use it only to respond to you and delete it when it is no longer needed.
6. Sharing
We do not sell, rent or share personal data with third parties because we do not collect it.
7. Permissions and your choices
You can grant or revoke access to Photos, Contacts, Face ID and Notifications at any time in iOS Settings › Cleaner. Some features need these permissions to work.
8. Data retention and deletion
All App data lives on your device. Deleting the App removes its data, including Private Vault contents and contact backups. Photos you deleted remain in Recently Deleted for up to 30 days unless you remove them sooner.
9. Children
The App is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect information from children.
10. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy. The “Last updated” date shows the latest version.
